Our client is in need of a Project Manager with Clinical Experience. Overall responsibility for planning and delivering a portfolio of projects as part of the Clients post-merger integration effort.
Strong Project Management Skills:
Proven experience planning, estimating and delivering SI projects that met or exceeded client expectations (preferably multiple small projects concurrently or one large effort involving multiple teams).
Strong Drug Discovery Acumen:
If candidate does not have Post Merger Integration Experience, otherwise, scientific background and/or consulting experience in Drug Discovery.
Strong Client Facing Skills:
Candidate will need to be able to interact successfully with PhD Biologists and Seasoned Informatics Staff (who are experts in their fields and also have the experience of having been through multiple mergers).
Post Merger Integration Experience:
If candidate does not have Strong Drug Discovery Acumen, otherwise, it is helpful if the candidate has past experience in the type of SI work that is typically associated with post-merger integration efforts--e.g., data migration, application remediation, deployment.
Scientific Data Analysis:
It is helpful if the candidate has past experience in scientific data analysis, more specifically in establishing data/process standards, data mapping or ETT/ETL.
Managing Off-shore Development:
It is helpful if the candidate has past experience leveraging off-shore resources as a large percentage of the SI work associated with the program will be delivered in that way.
Specific Application Experience:
It would be helpful if the candidate had experience with IDBS Applications (such as eWorkbook/Biobook/Activity Base) or Electronic Notebook applications (e.g., CambridgeSoft or IDBS) or COTS LIMS packages (Laboratory Information Management Systems such as Watson and Galileo).
Technology Knowledge:
Key technologies for the targeted projects include JAVA, Informatica and SQL.
