Position Description:
This position requires development using Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) tools to perform database warehouse design and planning. It also requires use of Cognos 8 and its components: Dispatcher Gateway, Framework Manager, Query Studio/Builder, Analysis Studio and Reports Studio.
Position Requirements:
- Experience with data warehousing concepts such as data modeling, data quality, SCD and ETL.
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence tools (BI, OLAP, ROLAP)
- Experience with dimensional models, analytics and reporting.
- Experience with Entity Relational Models and Dimensional Models
- Documentation skills
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field.
Required Technical Skills:
- Oracle database warehouse design and planning - 5 years
- Cognos design and development - 5 years
- SQL and complex schemas - 3 years
Desired Technical Skills:
- Experience with financial performance management applications
- Experience with operational BI Applications
- Cognos integration with spatial data published by a GIS. |
