Government client is looking for 4 Production Support consultants to work collaboratively with government counterparts, Solution Delivery, Quality Assurance, Testing, and other teams. Consultants are responsible to deliver a complex and comprehensive business solution. Production Support analysts work helpdesk tickets as assigned. This includes performing an impact analysis on the issue in a timely manner. Resolution of issues may include, customer coaching, systems monitoring and corrections, data maintenance, month end, year-end processing, break/fix and new development. Production Support analysts are responsible for ensuring the functioning of the live production environment. Therefore, analysts are involved in testing and validation of all new development being proposed for promotion to the production system. Production Support consultants will take active part in Deployment and SAP Upgrade processes. Analysts may be called on to participate on work effort teams. The consultant must be able to proactively educate both team members and the client with specific best practices. The consultant must be able to brief senior managers.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years working in a SAP environment as a consultant or have played a key role or SME on a project implementation team. The candidate should have detailed functional knowledge in at least two functional SAP modules and an understanding the business and technical integration issues associated with those modules. In addition, the candidate will have background with interfaces and data conversion, capabilities and limitations of SAP as well as the setup and configuration issues associated with their product module specialty area.
SAP Core Experience with the following modules is required:
-FI. Financial accounting
-CO. Controlling
-FM Funds Management
-PS Project Systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of SL/BL/FM integration to Finance modules (FI/CO/PS) preferred
- Knowledge of SL/BL/FM integration to Logistics modules (MM, PM, PP, SD) preferred
SAP ECC 6.0 experience is a plus.
