Government client is looking for SAP Developers with advanced programming knowledge in SAP development and testing and solid knowledge of SAP overall. Developers must have in depth knowledge in at least 2 technical areas and of SAP development tools with a firm understanding of SAP architecture. Developers are involved in all phases of a life cycle implementation, including development of specifications, prototypes, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training and post production support. The SAP Developers work closely with our functional configuration consultants to ensure accuracy and completeness of functional requirements creates technical specifications and the development of programs according to specifications. Developers are responsible for technical component delivery as well as full integration testing and assumes responsibility for testing the application code from a technical perspective to verify that programs follow standards and meets technical specifications. The developers will actively participate in work groups and work sessions with functional and technical consultants and lead groups and work sessions with functional and technical consultants when required.
This position will work as a member of one of several business areas on the program to include Finance, Inventory/Warehousing management, Distribution, MM/PLM, Supply Chain Planning.
Ideal candidates will have minimum 6 years working in SAP development and experience working on at least 3 full software lifecycle developments. The consultant should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers and gathering requirements as necessary. The candidate needs to have depth and breadth in their core SAP expertise and experience in integration with an ERP environment. The individual should be capable of leading a mid to large size team with 10 - 15 resources and able to deliver solutions with minimum or no guidance from project managers. Good writing and documentation skills are required. In addition, the candidate will have background with interfaces, SAP bolt-ons and components external to SAP, batch networking and following through with SAP Notes and Messages.
SAP Core Experience in two or more or the following modules is required: FI, CO, PS, SD, MM, PP, IM, WM, LO, LE, or QM
Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
-ABAP Objects
-BADI-s
-List Viewer (ALV)
-Dialog Programming
SAP ECC 6.0 is also a plus.
